Counselling for adults

Whether you have been to counselling before or this is your first time, it is such a brave step to take. It can take you out of your comfort zone to reach out for help.

As an integrative counsellor your needs are my priority and I aim to provide safe non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences. Whether you are experiencing burnout, workplace stress, or you might be a new mum adjusting to a new norm, I will support you to navigate these challenges.

Psychology of weight loss

I worked in the NHS supporting adults who had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in addition to supporting adults pre and post bariatric surgery. Additionally, I have worked as a health coach specialising in sustainable weight loss.

With a background in diabetes research, I bring a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between metabolic health, weight, and behaviour. I support patients in the psychology of weight loss by addressing the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral factors that influence eating habits and motivation. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral strategies, I help individuals explore their relationship with food, identify triggers for emotional eating, and set sustainable, health-focused goals. This training has equipped me to support you with a sustainable lifestyle change.

I can promise you that there will be absolutely no judgement I will listen empathically to your story, and we can work together to decide how best to support you.

Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.
